To change the transmission fluid on a Honda Civic, you will need a good rug, a drip pan, 10 quarts of transmission fluid, a funnel and a ratchet wrench. First, remove the dipstick to release the pressure on the liquid. Then, remove the drain plug with the ratchet wrench. You may need to bang on the bolt with a cheater bar to loosen it. Drain the fluid into the pan. Then replace the drain plug until it is hand tight. Use the ratchet wrench to tighten the drain plug. Clean up the excess transmission fluid with a rag. Insert a funnel into the fill hole. Add the fresh fluid to the fill hole. Replace the dip stick and close the fill hole to complete the transmission fluid change.

This is same for Honda Jazz.
I plan on doing all repairs to car on own from now on, yes im a lady, but we can do it to :), after seeing how Easy it is to Do it yourself why would I spend over $50.00 to a place to do it for me? I dont have drip pan, but I will invest in buying own, it will be needed for doing this and also oil changes, thank you for your video, well showed and simple. Not as hard as auto places tell me it is to do if I tried to do it myself.
Same here sista! The video quality here wasn't the best, so ill keep researching some more before I get my hands dirty. Aint nobody gonna take over 100 bucks from me to drain out and replace some car fluids! No way!
You make it looks so easy that I maybe able to do it :)
